Medavie Blue Cross is currently negotiating with Shoppers Drug Mart Corp. (TSX:SC) about how much the Moncton-based insurer will reimburse the pharmacies for drugs purchased with Blue Cross cards.

The two sides came to a tentative agreement earlier this month, after some drug stores had refused to accept Blue Cross cards in protest of what they felt was an insufficient reimbursement plan.
