A long-time supporter for seniors in the Liberal government.
She also played a key role to make sure that assets were protected while in
office . Mary’s first role for seniors when first elected, removed assets from nursing care
cost. She then engaged stakeholders and developed the New Brunswick’s
Long-Term Care strategy, Be independent Longer.
Significant changes were made under her leadership while in office. Even when she took on the role for minister for health she never forgot the many seniors in this province. The Liberal government accomplishment list is very long for seniors. Mary was also instrumental with her colleges to approved new beds in enhanced special care home.
We look forward to hearing from Mary Schryer at the annual
meeting. I have attached a list of accomplishments for your reference.
The Coalition will be releasing “Pillars for Change” at its
annual meeting. This meeting is open to the public free and of charge. It will
be held at People’s Park Tower in Moncton. 55 Camden Court. November 22, 2013.
Book your date and join us at 10:00 am. It will be a great opportunity to meet
the former Minister.
Looking forward to seeing you all then.
