Seniors in our society are hit particularly hard. Living on fixed income they are increasingly relying on charitable groups like Meals on Wheels as they cut their grocery budget down to a minimum in the winter months. Some will also be forced to alternate days they take needed medication in order to make it last longer, or simply not get their prescriptions filled.
