Dozens of nursing-home workers protested in Caraquet and Saint John this weekend after their appeal over a contract dispute was postponed until January.
The province's labour board was set to hear the dispute between the New Brunswick Council of Nursing Home Unions and the New Brunswick Nursing Home Association last week.
But Valerie Black, president of the New Brunswick Council of Nursing Home Unions, said the association representing nursing homes asked for more time to prepare for the hearing.
The hearing is now scheduled for Jan. 25 to 27.
