Five years ago a coalition was formed of seniors groups from all over New Brunswick. It was first named the Coalition for Nursing Home Residents' Rights. The coalition lobbied for change in the nursing home fees and also that assets be removed from the equation. They called for more hours of care. The people of the province listened. More importantly, those who make the changes listened to the coalition.
