Senior telephone abuse line now operating 24 hours a day in Manitoba Published Wednesday November 24th, 2010

WINNIPEG - A Manitoba government service aimed at stopping the abuse of seniors will now run 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The province says a new partnership with Winnipeg's Klinic Community Health Centre will expand its services to offer professional and confidential telephone counselling.
Seniors Minister Jim Rondeau says it's an effort to help more people find ways to be safe and secure.
Research indicates as many as 15-thousand elderly Manitobans will experience one or more forms of abuse. (CJOB)
