An ongoing concern for Cassista and her group is the debate around the suggestion that private long-term care is superior to public. Her latest contribution provides findings of a study released by the Institute for Research on Public Policy late last week that states, "Public long-term care is better. For-profit long-term care facilities are less likely to provide quality care than non-profit or public facilities."
